European style 125 cm³ model incorporating the lines of the KATANA series
Based on the 4-stroke 1-cylinder Suzuki Twin Dome Combustion Chamber (STDCC) engine adopted in the GN125E, this model features a modified intake and exhaust system that boosts maximum horsepower to 14 PS. Weight reduction measures such as a newly designed diamond frame were applied to realize excellent fuel economy of 63 km/L (50 km/h steady state fuel economy*). In addition to the mini-faired styling, the GS125E KATANA is also equipped with a hydraulic front disc brake that incorporates powerful square brake pads and the Anti Nose Dive Fork (ANDF) system, resulting in enhanced handling and excellent ride comfort.
