Super street bike with a styling motif inspired by Japanese swords
The export model GSX1100S KATANA made a huge impact when it was unveiled at the Cologne Motorcycle Show in the autumn of 1980. The GSX750S was the first model for Japan that followed its groundbreaking styling design. The high-power and fuel-efficient 750 cm³ 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine is equipped with Twin Swirl Combustion Chambers (TSCCs). It also features a collection of Suzuki’s most advanced technologies, such as the Anti Nose Dive Fork (ANDF) system, front and rear disc brakes, and a rear suspension with adjustable damping force.

A beautiful fusion of an ultra-lightweight body and aerodynamics
This full model change of the GSX750S was designed to realize superlative aerodynamic characteristics. Featuring a retractable headlight for the first time in a sport motorcycle, the KATANA delivers a unique impression completely different from any other model. Weight reduction was prioritized through the adoption of the lightweight and highly rigid L-BOX frame and aluminum forgings for a wide range of parts. The 750 cm³ 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine is equipped with Twin Swirl Combustion Chambers (TSCCs) and generates maximum horsepower of 77 PS. At the front, Positive Damping Forks (PDF), a further enhancement of the Anti Nose Dive Fork (ANDF) system, help to reduce nose dive during high-speed cornering and engine braking.
