New mid-size model with the outstanding riding performance of the RG series
The RG80E is a European street bike equipped with an 80 cm³ 2-stroke 1-cylinder power reed valve engine that combines an impressive maximum horsepower of 10 PS with easy-to-handle flat torque characteristics. This engine features an aluminum cylinder and cylinder head for improved heat dissipation, enabling ideal performance for long runs and other tough riding conditions. User-friendliness is also enhanced by the adoption of the maintenance-free Pointless Electronic Ignition (PEI) system and a primary kickstarter. This model also features a large rectangular headlight, rear carrier, and star-shaped cast alloy wheels. The cruiser style GN80E also debuted at the same time.
