1985 | RG500Γ
Replica model of the RGΓ Grand Prix racer
This model incorporates technologies from the works racer that won the World Grand Prix Road Race 500 cc class for 7 consecutive years from 1976 to 1982. The RGΓ was the name given to Suzuki’s 500 cm³ factory racer from 1981, and was used as the basis for the name of the RG500Γ. In line with the factory model, the RG500Γ is equipped with a 4-cylinder liquid-cooled 2-stroke square four engine that generates maximum horsepower of 64 PS. The chassis features a lightweight aluminum alloy box frame with a built-in air cleaner, helping to achieve a dry weight of only 156 kg. A multi-stage expansion type muffler was paired with the Suzuki Automatic Exhaust Control (SAEC) system to raise exhaust efficiency. The well-equipped chassis also includes features such as Positive Damping Forks (PDF) and the Deca Piston Brake System (DPBS).

The closest to a true Grand Prix racer in an era filled with race replica models
Similar to the RG500Γ, the RG400Γ is a 2-stroke sport bike that incorporates technologies from the RGΓ Grand Prix factory racer. The liquid-cooled 2-stroke square-four engine generates maximum horsepower of 59 PS. The weight of the chassis was reduced by adopting an aluminum alloy box frame, helping to achieve a dry weight of only 153 kg. Higher exhaust efficiency was achieved by adopting the same Suzuki Automatic Exhaust Control (SAEC) system as the RG500Γ, and the 6-speed transmission was tuned to make the most effective use of the power delivered by the engine. The chassis includes features such as the Deca Piston Brake System (DPBS) and Positive Damping Forks (PDF). The RG400Γ also has a 16-inch front tire for nimble and agile steering characteristics.
