2005 | Address V125
First fuel-injected Japanese-made scooter in its class
The Address V125 is the successor model to the best-selling 2-stroke Address V100 that sold around 210,000 units between its debut and February 2005. The V125 is powered by a newly designed 4-stroke air-cooled 1-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 8.4 kW (11.4 PS). This engine features the first fuel injection system in a Japanese-made 125 cm³ scooter, and delivers even better startability and dynamic performance with excellent fuel economy of 56.0 km/L (60 km/h steady state fuel economy*). Convenience and theft deterrence were enhanced by the adoption of an integrated centralized locking system that uses the main key to unlock both the handlebars and seat, and an ignition system with a shutter-key lock that prevents the bike from being started up directly. The lightest Japanese-made 125 cm³ scooter on the market, the Address V125 is particularly noted for its excellent handling and rideability.
