The mini CRO 75 is a new type of mini pleasure bike equipped with small-diameter block pattern tires. With a name derived from “mini motocrosser,” this model appeals to a wide range of users through a combination of off-road oriented performance and rider-friendliness. Its black-painted 75 cm³ 2-stroke 1-cylinder rotary disc valve engine is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission to deliver gutsy torque in the low- and mid-rpm ranges. This model also features Suzuki’s unique and highly reliable Cylinder Crank Injection (CCI) lubrication system.

At the time, with 50 cm³-class models making up more than 60% of Japan’s motorcycle market, there was strong demand for a pipe-framed mini pleasure bike. A 50 cm³ version of the well-received mini CRO 75 was launched specifically to fill this demand. The mini CRO 50 pairs a black-painted 50 cm³ 2-stroke 1-cylinder rotary disc valve engine with a 5-speed manual transmission to deliver gutsy torque in the low-, mid- and high-rpm ranges. Other notable features include long-stroke Ceriani type front forks and a sporty coil spring rear suspension. Small-diameter block pattern tires and a classic muffler installed high up on the body enables superb maneuverability even on rough road surfaces.
