125 cm³ model that is fun-to-ride on a wide range of road conditions
The VanVan 125, the largest-displacement model in the VanVan series, debuted in October 1972, following the 50 cm³ model in June of the same year and the 90 cm³ model in August 1971. Featuring heavy-duty rectangle tires (width: 137 mm at the front and 170 mm at the rear) and a large double seat, this is a pleasure bike that is fun to ride on various types of roads and surfaces such as sandy or rocky ground. This model features a tough 125 cm³ 2-stroke piston valve engine equipped with a single aluminum cylinder and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. An air pump and tire pressure gauge are also provided as standard equipment so that the air pressure of the tires can be adjusted depending on the surface. It also features a primary kickstarter capable of starting the engine in any gear.

Pleasure bike designed as a completely new form of transportation
The VanVan 90 was developed in response to an ongoing boom in outdoor leisure activities as a completely new form of transportation that would disrupt the conventional image of motorcycles. Equipped with newly designed wide rectangle tires (width: 170 mm at both the front and rear), it can be ridden over a wide range of surfaces, including sandy ground, mud, and grass, as well as on steep hills and snowy roads. An air pump is provided in the frame so that the user can adjust the air pressure of the tires. This model is powered by a gutsy 90 cm³ 2-stroke 1-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. In addition to leisure activities, the VanVan 90 can also be used for business purposes on golf courses, construction sites, and fruit farms, for patrolling areas with rough roads, or for riding around rural farming areas.

New variation that expands the popular VanVan series
The VanVan series debuted in 1971 with a 90 cm³ model, followed by 50 cm³ and 125 cm³ models in 1972. The VanVan 75 was added in response to the popularity of the series. The main chassis components are shared with the VanVan 50. It features a tough and torqueful 75 cm³ 2-stroke reed valve engine equipped with a single aluminum cylinder and paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. This model realizes superb riding performance on a wide range of road surfaces. An air pump is provided in the frame to enable simple adjustment of the air pressure of its wide rectangle tires (width: 137 mm at both the front and rear). The “Ride the world on a VanVan” catchphrase helped to increase its popularity.

The VanVan 50 is a 50 cm³ model that was released after the positive reaction to the VanVan 90 that debuted in 1971. This model retains various features from the VanVan 90, including the versatile rectangle tires (width: 137 mm at both the front and rear) that can be ridden even over sandy or muddy ground. The compact size of the VanVan 50 makes it easy to ride by anyone. The 50 cm³ 2-stroke 1-cylinder engine features a single aluminum cylinder with excellent heat dissipation and a reed valve that delivers punchy staying power on hills and at low speeds. These features enable persistent durability even on longer rides. The engine is paired with a rotary 3-speed automatic transmission. A Deluxe version was also released with an air pump, tire pressure gauge, and floral pattern seat.
