Urban model based on the image of a gliding swan

Swany

As its name suggests, this model was designed to evoke the graceful silhouette of a swan. Intended for use in the city, the Swany is equipped with an integrated leg shield and step that allows the rider to sit with his or her legs together. Other user-friendly features include gauges that show the remaining gasoline and oil levels at a glance, and a speedometer with a built-in odometer. The 50 cm³ 2-stroke air-cooled 1-cylinder engine generates maximum horsepower of 3.2 PS and is paired with a 2-speed automatic transmission. Additional models were also launched in the following year (1981), including one equipped with a single-push electric starter and the Swany Sports model without a front basket.
