The V-Strom 250 is a sport adventure tourer that delivers the comfort of a tourer with the rideability of an everyday bike. As the result of thorough measures to reduce friction and raise combustion efficiency, the power generated by the 250 cm³ liquid-cooled 2-cylinder engine emphasizes rideability at low and medium speeds. It achieves a fuel economy rating of 39.0 km/L (60 km/h steady state fuel economy with rider and passenger*) and complies with Japan’s 2016 emissions regulations. Its low seat height of 800 mm, specialized front forks, and rear suspension with seven adjustable settings ensure a comfortable sitting posture and excellent maneuverability. The design retains the family DNA of the V-Strom series with a tough outdoorsy image centered on the flashlight-styled headlight.
