2005 | RM-Z450
Suzuki’s first twin-beam aluminum frame
Featuring the first twin-beam aluminum frame to be adopted on a Suzuki motocross bike, the 450 cm³ RM-Z450 is also equipped with Suzuki’s first 4-stroke liquid-cooled 1-cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine. A 4-speed transmission was adopted to reduce the weight and size of the engine. Generous use of magnesium, titanium and other lightweight materials in the chassis and engine results in a light and compact machine with equal handling to a 2-stroke motocrosser. The wide powerband delivered by the 4-stroke engine enables highly competitive race performance.

2018 | RM-Z450
TIncorporating a wide-range of racing-inspired technologies and completely fresh styling
The RM-Z450 combines a newly designed frame with a 450 cm³ 4-stroke liquid-cooled DOHC 4-valve engine featuring upgraded intake and fuel injection systems. The RM-Z450 is also equipped with the Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) launch system that helps the rider takeoff from the starting gate and take the prime position in a race. S-HAC has two modes and an off setting that can be selected to suit track conditions. These features and a new suspension setup at the front and rear help to reduce lap times while also lowering rider fatigue.
