Notice regarding Change in Organization and Personnel of Officers and Executive General Managers
Suzuki Motor Corporation will make the following change in organization and personnel of Officers and Executive General Managers as of 1 April 2026.
1. Change in organization
(1) Reorganization of Public Relations and Corporate Communications
- - Public Relations and Corporate Communications will be reorganized into Global Communications and Global Public Affairs in order to expand each function of public affairs and corporate communications as well as their global operations.
(2) Establishment of Global Financial Services
- - Global Financial Services will be newly established to accelerate expansion and enhancement of finance, insurance, and pre-owned car-related businesses and to continuously implement sound and reliable business operations based on the company’s policy to expand value chain earnings.
(3) Integration of Product Planning and BEV Solutions
- - Product Planning and BEV Solution will be integrated into Product Planning in order to improve efficiency and quality of operations by eliminating duplication of common operations in automobile planning and development.
(4) Reorganization of Automobile Engineering
- - Officer in charge of motorcycle engineering will be appointed in order to promote technical exchange and mutual technical support between automobile and motorcycle engineering.
- - Automobile EV Engineering will be reorganized into Battery Development and Automobile Electric Engineering in order to accelerate development of battery packs and electric technology.
- - Automobile Powertrain Engineering will be renamed as Automobile Internal Combustion Powertrain Engineering in order to clarify that they will be responsible for developing powertrains for internal combustion engines.
- - Automobile Vehicle Engineering will be reorganized into Automobile Body Engineering and Automobile Vehicle Dynamics Engineering in order to master automobile body technology and dynamics technology.
(5) Reorganization of Manufacturing
- - Manufacturing will be divided into Manufacturing and Production Engineering, and officer in charge of manufacturing will be appointed to oversee both verticals.
- - Officer in charge of manufacturing in Haryana, manufacturing in Gujarat, and manufacturing in India who will oversee both operations will be appointed in order to strengthen the operations of each plant in India and ensure the launch of the fifth site.
