Comments from Toshihiro Suzuki, Representative Director and President
"Osamu Suzuki, Senior Corporate Advisor of Suzuki decided to build a factory in Hungary 35 years ago and, Suzuki's cars are called and loved as ‘a mi autónk (our car)’ by the people of Hungary. We were able to contribute to Hungary's economic development and friendly relations between Hungary and Japan. In recognition of this achievement, Osamu Suzuki received the Grand Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit from the Hungarian government in 2020.
Europe is an important market for Suzuki to develop environmental and safety technologies and offer them to the world market. Magyar Suzuki, the only production base in Europe, will continue to play an important role for Suzuki."
