Change in Organisation and Personnel
Suzuki Motor Corporation will make the following change in organisation and operational responsibility of director and managing officer, and personnel change of executive general managers and general managers, and presidents and plant managers of overseas companies as of 1 April 2019.
1. Change in Organisation
- - Motorcycle Company will be newly established as an in-house company directly reporting to the President and the Motorcycle Operations will be abolished, in order to convert the motorcycle business into a profitable business by proactively finding solutions to normalise the business through individual accounting.

- - Motorcycle Planning Department, Motorcycle Styling Design Department, Motorcycle Design Department, and Motorcycle Administration Department will be established under the Motorcycle Company.
[Corporate Planning Office]
- - Corporate Management/IR Department and Product Cost Management Department will be merged and become Corporate Management/IR/Cost Management Department.
[Automobile Engineering]
- - Automobile Powertrain Development Department, Automobile Engine Development Department, Automobile Hybrid Design Department, and Automobile Transmission Development Department will be merged and re-established as Automobile Powertrain Fundamental Technology Department, Automobile Powertrain System Development Department, Automobile Engine Development Department, and Automobile Electric Drive Unit Development Department.
[Research & Development]
- - Advanced Engineering Development Department will be established above System Development Group, Component Development Group, and Program Development Group.
