SUZUKI SHARING DATA SERVICE

Suzuki Motor Corporation ("we", "our" or "us") will share certain data generated during the use of SUZUKI-brand products (the "Products") and related services (the "Related Services") with you, either free of charge or for a fee, in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the "Data Act").

1. Definition of Shareable Data

"Shareable Data" means data generated during the use of the Products and/or the Related Services under the Data Act. The Sharable Data includes, for example, fault diagnosis data obtained by connecting diagnosis tools. We may, at its sole discretion, decline sharing of data which should be protected as trade secrets. In some cases, we may not be able to share data if it is not stored in our database or has been deleted and no longer exists. Additionally, the types of the Sharable Data vary depending on the product group.

2. List of Sharable Data

The Sharable Data by product group is as follows:
Automobile
- Driving data (only available for Suzuki Connect Service user)
- Failure diagnosis history (only available for Suzuki Connect Service user)
- Related Service data
Motorcycle
- IUPR (In Use Performance Ratio) data
Outboard
- Failure diagnosis history

3. Applicable Regions

Our data sharing is limited to the vehicles which are sold, used and have data collected in the following regions. Requests for data sharing are also limited to residents or registered corporations in the following regions:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

4. Eligible Individual/Entity

Under the Data Act, the following individual/entity is eligible for requests for data sharing:

  • (a) user of the Products;
  • (b) third party who have obtained consent from user of the Products; or
  • (c) public sector body based in the EU.

    Please note that upon inquiry, we may (i) verify your personal information and/or (ii) confirm whether consent has been obtained.

5. Data Requests Procedure

Requests for data sharing are accepted via this request form (this "Form"). Please fill in the required information on this Form and submit your request. In accordance with our data sharing policy, we may contact you for identity verification or other inquiries as necessary. Data will be provided as raw data in formats such as CSV and sent via email using a shared link. Please note that depending on the type and volume of data requested, it may take some time to prepare and provide the data.
This Form should be used only for requests related to data sharing under the EU Data Act. Please note that we will not respond to any other inquiries and requests made through this Form.

6. Charges

In accordance with the Data Act, we will invoice certain charges based on the volume of data to (i) third party who have obtained consent from user of the Products or (ii) public sector body.
