Vibe Different: New-Genre Fronx Makes Market Debut

Fronx production announcement on 28th May

The Indonesian edition of the dynamic coupe style compact SUV Fronx was launched on 28 May 2025 in Jakarta by PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM). The first all-new model for SIM’s Cikarang factory in Indonesia for 5 years, production of the Fronx officially began 13 May and by the end of August customer bookings had already passed 6,000 units. With a dynamic design that combines strength and sophistication, the vibe of the next generation Fronx demonstrates a strong commitment to local manufacturing and hybrid innovation. While Fronx is already sold in over 80 countries and regions around the world, by introducing manufacturing in Indonesia, Suzuki is adding a global supply hub particularly focused on ASEAN markets.

As they began to prepare for the start of production, local young employees who had yet to experience the challenge of launching a new product, participated in comprehensive training programs. Through this, they strengthened their commitment to excellence and the pursuit of quality, not only satisfy customers but also to uphold Suzuki’s proud global standards. Experts from Suzuki headquarters provided engineering support, conducting rigorous test drives both in-house and on public roads, and adjusted Suzuki’s Advanced Driver Assistance System to fit local conditions. Beyond refining the sophisticated exterior design to ensure the new model appeals to local tastes, teams across production, marketing, service, and engineering collaborated closely to achieve a level of quality they can deliver with confidence.

The introduction of this stylish and powerful city SUV began in stages with its “white body” exhibited at the Indonesian International Motor Show in February 2025. Next, to further tease anticipation, ads on social media in April created a buzz surrounding the new model.

Then, following the official launch in May, on 5 July, Suzuki proudly held a handover ceremony for the new model to customers. From the design to the production to the marketing phase, the Suzuki team worked with dedication and inspiration. We believe that the all-new Fronx will be an exciting new chapter in Suzuki’s global success story.
