Mr. Max Mosley, President of FIA (Federation Internationale de I’Automobile), visits Suzuki Motor Corporation on 15th March. He welcomes the entry of Suzuki for the FIA WRC (World Rally Championship) and expects Suzuki’s progress in its rally activities.

Suzuki intends to join the WRC with the SX4 WRC Rally car from 2008, and start the European test in April, and participate in the Rallye de France in October 2007 and the Rally GB in November 2007 on a test basis.

The comments of Mr. Mosley for Suzuki
“I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to visit the Suzuki Motor Corporation headquarters on my brief visit to Japan. Suzuki is a company I admire because it always strives to make cars and bikes that are technically proficient as well as sporty and fun.
Certainly, the Suzuki marque will be a welcome addition to the FIA World Rally Championship when it enters for the first time in its history later this year. As one of the more innovative motor manufacturers I look forward to watching its progress in this prestigious championship.”
