This trio of performance-focused, industry-Eddie Krawiek kakes control of the Vance & Hines Hayabusa35leading companies make the Vance & Hines/Mission Foods/Suzuki Factory Pro Stock Motorcycle Team an early favourite for the top spot.Terry Vance and Byron Hines created Vance & Hines and, when the NHRA, established the PSM class as fully-fiedged national championship in 1987, Vance won its inaugural race in Gainesville on a Suzuki GS1150E. Later in that season he set a Pro Stock milestone as the ffirst motorcycle to run a seven-second elapsed time (ET). Since that TEAM SUZUKI RACING NEWStime, Vance & Hines-built Suzuki powerplants have won five NHRA national titles, including three consecutive championships on bikes piloted by Byron’s son, Matt Hines.The Vance & Hines/Suzuki partnership is a multi-year programme which will allow racing fans to see the performance of a 6.3 second, 200+ mph Hayabusa model in the world’s premier form of motorcycle drag racing. Mission Foods continues its sponsorship of the team in 2022 and has become a significant presence in racing, with partnerships and sponsorships in IndyCar and several racing organizations in powersports. Vance & Hines also announced details of its 2022 campaign to earn the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle championship, with a trio of former NHRA champions leading the charge. Andrew Hines stepped up to the role of full-time Crew Chief for the team and riders Angelle Sampey and Eddie Krawiec campaign Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycles with Vance & Hines four-valve Suzuki motors.“Being Crew Chief will be a clear advantage for myself and the team,” said Hines. “My experience on the seat for two decades, along with great feedback from our riders, will factor in to how I make tuning decisions for the team.
