The official test in the last week of March, welcomed Guintoli into the team and reunited Siméon with the crew. Watanabe was unable to attend due to All-Japan Superbike responsibilities – this meant that the first time all four team riders would be together would be at the Le Mans 24-H.Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and various safety regulations across the world, the opening round of the 2021 Endurance World Championship at Le Mans was postponed to the weekend of the 12th and 13th of June. As with the majority of large sporting events at that time, the race was to run ‘behind closed doors’. The big one: 24 Heures Motos – 12th & 13th June 2021SERT last won the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans in 2015 and Yoshimura had never won the highly-revered event.
