An amazing 1-2 in Supersports on the GSX-R600 by Sean Dylan Kelly and Lucas SilvaCameron Petersen on his Altus Motorsports Suzuki GSX-R1000 was in a different league in Stock100042The 2010 Moto2 World Champion raised the level of competition in MotoAmerica upon his arrival with his relentless and audacious riding style. The Spaniard racked-up 32 wins and a title during his run with Suzuki and went out on a high note. Despite struggling to find his form for much of the season, Elias raced at the front and earned his second, third, and fourth podiums of the season in a final three-race fiurry at the Laguna Seca triple-header finale. After winning the Supersport title for M4 ECSTAR Suzuki in 2019, Fong was bold and did not spend much time working his way up to speed on the team’s Superbike. Team Hammer and Suzuki demonstrated faith in reigning MotoAmerica Supersport king Bobby Fong by slotting him alongside Elias on an M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R1000R Superbike for 2020. The hard-charging Fong immediately proved With Fong stepping-up to the premier class, young Sean Dylan Kelly led the charge for M4 ECSTAR Suzuki in the Supersport class following his outstanding two-win, fourth-ranked rookie campaign. “SDK” proved himself worthy of that responsibility; he earned ffve wins during the year - often in spectacular, dogfighting fashion that included 16 total podiums to finish as the Supersport Championship runner-up. Kelly performed his best down the stretch as he continued to up the pace at the front and challenge his rivals. The highlight of the year for M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Supersport effiort took place at the Ridge Motorsports Park, where Kelly and teammate Lucas Silva came home with a 1-2 finish.
