The Spaniard racked-up 32 wins and a title during his run with Suzuki and went out on a high note. Despite struggling to find his form for much of the season, Elias raced at the front and earned his second, third, and fourth podiums of the season in a final three-race fiurry at the Laguna Seca triple-header finale. After winning the Supersport title for M4 ECSTAR Suzuki in 2019, Fong was bold and did not spend much time working his way up to speed on the team’s Superbike. Team Hammer and Suzuki demonstrated faith in reigning MotoAmerica Supersport king Bobby Fong by slotting him alongside Elias on an M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R1000R Superbike for 2020.
