Riders on bikes built by Team Hammer 2017 MotoAmerica and 2010 Moto2 Champion Toni Elias announced his retirement from the team in 202040can now boast of a combined nine AMA Pro/ MotoAmerica national titles. Riders who started their professional careers with Team Hammer have claimed three World Championships, two FIM Latin American Championships, and race victories in virtually every major road racing category in America, along with MotoGP, World Superbike and TEAM SUZUKI RACING NEWSWorld Endurance. So it made sense that Team Hammer and its supported satellite efforts would be more than competitive in 2020.That swagger was immediately put to the test by the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak that caused sporting events in America to be shut down. When the pandemic-delayed season finally opened, 2019 Supersport Champion Bobby Fong won his first Superbike race on his 10th day of riding a Team Hammer GSX-R1000R.
