27Pro Motocross Championship on May the 25th. Martin fought hard in both motos to earn sixth overall amongst a deep fleld of talent with a steady 10-6 score. In the 450 ranks, a rejuvenated Hill arguably put together his best performance of the year so far, finishing with an 8-7 score for seventh overall on his RM-Z450. Round three at Thunder Valley on June 1st saw a tough day for JGRMX/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki Racing, with Hill taking a quiet 12-11 race score in the 450 class and Martin the best in the 250s with a 9-12 score.Things got worse for the team when Hill sufiered a shoulder injury in a mid-week practice crash and so Kyle Chisholm joined the team for round four at High Point on June 15th. This was Chisholm’s first National of the year and he was a little rusty but brought the big RM home in both races with a 23-20 scorecard. Martin and Kyle Peters also struggled in the 250 class, so the team aimed to put a bad day behind them and set off for Florida.Ranch in Jacksonville, Florida hosted the fifth round of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship on June 22nd and the team hoped for their luck to change. And change it did, with Martin taking his best overall result of the year to date with a fine 7-6 score in sweltering conditions. Peters also logged his best single moto finish, while in the 450 ranks, Chisholm was gaining momentum in only his second event filling in for injured Justin Hill.With Chisholm moving back to his private H.E.P Motorsports Suzuki team, Swedish rider Fredrik Noren joined the JGRMX/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki Racing Team for round six of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Southwick on June 29th. And what an inspired move by Team Manager Jeremy Albrecht: Noren stormed to an excellent 5-7 result in the two TEAM SUZUKI RACING NEWS450 class motos while Suzuki RM-Z250 rider Martin also displayed steady results with a top-10 overall, as teammate Peters was held back by a pair of crashes.on July 27th for the ninth round and where Noren fought hard on a slippery track to log consistent moto scores in flnishing eighth overall on his RM-Z450. Suzuki RM-Z250 rider Martin overcame a first moto crash to ffinish ninth overall, with teammate Peters passing over half of the fleld in the ffrst moto to score valuable points.Unadilla National was next for the 10th round where, in conjunction with Unadilla MX’s 50th Anniversary, RM-Z250 teammates Martin and Peters, along with RM-Z450 fill-in rider Noren fought-hard in historically-inspired gear and livery that reflected the 1970’s in honour of Suzuki’s strong motocross history. “Everyone did a great job with the 50th-anniversary graphics The team moved on to the famed RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan on July 6th for the seventh round of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Here Martin took the holeshot in both 250 class races, and although he crashed and dropped back to 19th in the first moto, he took a brilliant third-place rostrum in the second to show the true potential of the RM-Z250 machine. Fredrik Noren maintained his learning curve with a good 8-13 scorecard for 10th place overall in the 450 class.The JGRMX/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki Racing Team then had a weekend ofi before venturing to Millville, Minnesota on July 20th for the Spring Creek National and the eighth round of the series. Martin raced to second position at his home track, with podium finishes in each moto, resulting in second place overall on his RM-Z250.
