A multi-French and European Supercross Champion, with notable motocross achievements including a domestic title; ‘Soub’ has been on something of a roll in the past 12 months. He won the French SX Tour for the second successive year last December, was crowned the 2018 Arenacross UK champ earlier this year in February and then went out and made his mark in the States, contesting the last nine rounds of the AMA 450SX 17-round series and finishing an impressive 22nd overall, with a best result of 13th. Team Suzuki Racing caught up with the super-fast Frenchman to get the low down on his racing achievements.TSR: Congratulations on your recent successes. Which other championships have you won?CS: I would like to say so many more – ha, ha – but, I missed a lot of titles by just a couple of points. MX/SX is my passion and doing this every day, it’s what I used to dream about when I was young. to do it is my biggest achievement. TSR: You’ve been racing a Suzuki for just over two years now? How does it compare to previous machines? CS: Suzuki is a big family, every person I meet is friendly and works in the same direction. We want to win! I love my new 450 machine. I can’t wait for a little electric start but the handling is amazing and the new engine is so strong. TSR: Have you had to change much to the standard set up?CS: What has been your biggest achievement so My job is my passion. I love it and so fiis new 450 is amazing.
