262018 Issue #2 - AutumnEvgeny Bobryshev raced his privateer ‘Lombard Express with Par Homes’ RM-Z450 to victory in the 2018 British Motocross Championship in mid-October as ‘Storm Callum’ hit many parts of the UK.Even though the event at the famous Cadders Hill circuit was lashed by the back-end of the storm, the Russian clinched the title with two second positions after series leader at the time, Jake Nicholls, who was 39 points clear, was unable to race because of injury. And with 50 points on the table for the two races, Bobryshev lifted the title by a single point.Said Bobryshev: ‘‘We got the title! It’s been a difficult year, we didn’t have much luck at times, but unfortunately, Jake got injured and we got our chance to try and get the title. It’s been eight years since I had a title and today we were in the position again. I’m super pumped and so happy for the team; they deserved this. I just want to say a huge thanks to the team and all the sponsors that supported us throughout the season.’’ Suzuki has had a strong season globally with success and strong results with excellent performance of its RM-Z and GSX-R range of machinery.Global Suzuki“I’M sUPER PUMPEd ANd sO hAPPY FOR thE tEAM; thEY dEsERVEd thIs”BRitiSH MXneWS
