been quite difficult. Only in the last four-or-five races have we been able to recover some ground with respect to the beginning of the year, but in general we have not obtained what we expected.“At the beginning of the season we had placed many expectations in 2017 because the test in November 2016 with Andrea Iannone had been very positive and Andrea had been able to ride very fast since his first contact with the GSX-RR. Then, with the misfortune of Alex Rins on the second test day in Valencia, Andrea was left alone in the development of the bike and that has penalised us a bit.“The start of Alex as a rookie was not exactly what he dreamed of due to his constant incidents in the first part of the 0404TEAM SUZUKI RACING NEwStEAM SUZUKI rACInG nEwSseason. After fracturing several vertebrae in Valencia, he returned to Sepang, but not 100%, which hindered him later. And when one is in such a dificult situation it is important not to lose confidence and concentration. If it fits, in a situation like that, each member of the team should be even more lucid and work even a little more.“In the end, the fourth position of Alex and the sixth of Andrea in the Circuit Ricardo Tormo are a bit of our basis as a starting-point for next year. We will try to prepare the best bikes for 2018 and be very attentive to each and every one of the decisions that we will have to adopt on a technical level during the winter in order to enjoy the nine days of testing we will have before the 2018 season begins and try to complete a great year that puts Suzuki back to the rightful place.2017 Issue #3 - Winterteam SUZUKI ECStAr’s MotoGP™ team Manager davide Brivio refiects on 2017, the positive upturn towards the end of the season and wants to put Suzuki back to its rightful place in 2018.DAVIDE BRIVIO BLOG “The truth is that the 2017 season has ‘the team has been united in the most difficult moments’
