What about the commercial side of the job and finding sponsors. Has that also been an eye-opener?Is that part of the three-year plan then?20Stefan Everts was talking to Adam Wheeler from online magazine On Track Off Road (OTOR).So I have to make decisions that I believe are the best for that package of results, the team and the future of the team. Sometimes that means making and dealing with hard decisions.”“Sure and it is very difficult. It is a part where I lack experience and maybe I will never be very experienced! We have a lot of sponsors here in the industry and everyone is trying to grab an energy drink. My dream is to have a sponsor from outside the motorcycle industry. That would be very cool; to give presence to a company you would never normally see in motocross. I think you need to be lucky and meet the right person at the right place and moment. We will see. I will focus mainly on my homework to bring up this team and make the best group of people to work well together and with the right team spirit. To work with young riders and slowly get those results on the board. I want to be one of the best teams in this paddock in terms of image and spirit. I think a sponsor might come because of that.”“It is just about having that perfect group together of mechanics and engineers to make our bike better, faster, stronger. To have a very nice line-up of production bikes at Suzuki for the customers and pride of being associated with Team Suzuki. I remember the feelings and emotions around Suzuki in the ‘70s and ‘80s and how the brand was so iconic. I want that same effect but in a new version. It means all these factors and good riders and good results and people wanting to be part of or associated with this team.”
