15For the second year in succession, Northern Ireland’s 13-time TT winner Michael Dunlop swapped his modern-day Superbike to join Team Classic Suzuki in the Isle of Man; not only defending his 2015 title around the 37.7-mile course, but shattering the lap record in the process.The 27-year-old, fresh from victory at the Senior TT in June, was untouchable on his classic Suzuki XR69, leading from the start of the Superbike race and setting his record time of 126.808mph on his second of four laps. An overall time of 1:12:57.75hrs gave Dunlop his third win in the event from four starts.Dunlop, riding the #3 Suzuki, was joined by former GP racer Danny Webb - in his Classic TT debut aboard the #13 Vintage Parts-backed XR69 - finishing a creditable 10th despite a misfire, but then being elevated to sixth because of technical irregularities on some other machines in front of him.Team Classic Suzuki owner Steve Wheatman said: “We’re all delighted with our 2016 Classic TT.
