Suzuki Clean Ocean Project

    Suzuki Clean Ocean Project Initiatives

    • In 2020, Suzuki launched the Suzuki Clean Ocean Project, which focuses on marine plastic waste. To date, we have developed the Microplastic Collection Device, conducted waterside cleanup activities, and initiatives to reduce plastic in packaging materials for outboard motors and parts.
    • At the booth, we will display the DF140B, which is equipped with the Microplastic Collection Device, and panels and movies that introduce the waterside environmental protection activities under the Suzuki Clean Ocean Project.

    What developersparticularly recommend seeing!

We’re grateful for the water that is essential to our lives—and without which we wouldn’t be in the marine business. So in 2020, we launched the Suzuki Clean Ocean Project to address environmental threats to the hydrosphere. As part of this project, we’ve developed the DF140B, the world’s first outboard motor equipped with a microplastic collection device. Why not come and see it up close?
