Suzuki to Launch the All-New Mini-EV “e SKY” in Japan

Suzuki Motor Corporation will begin sales of the all-new e SKY, Suzuki’s first mini passenger electric vehicle (EV) in Japan from 16 November 2026.

The all-new e SKY was developed under the product concept of “Easy to Switch” as a mini-EV being by customer’s side in their daily lives. In addition to offering user-friendly features that enable a smooth transition from petrol-powered vehicles, it delivers the exceptional quietness and smooth acceleration performance distinctive of EVs.
With the design that combines familiarity with advanced appeal, the e SKY is a mini-EV that incorporates eAxle, the dedicated EV platform “HEARTECT-e”, and a regenerative braking system, all developed in accordance with Suzuki’s philosophy of conduct,“Sho-Sho-Kei-Tan-Bi” (Smaller, Fewer, Lighter, Shorter, Beauty). By leveraging these technologies and through thorough weight reduction and efficiency improvements, the e SKY achieves a driving range of 310 km per charge and a class-leading AC energy consumption rate of 97 Wh/km^*. It also delivers excellent maneuverability with a minimum turning radius of 4.4 m.
