Suzuki Remains a Constituent of the JPX-Nikkei Index Human Capital 100
Suzuki Motor Corporation has remained a constituent of the JPX-Nikkei Index Human Capital 100, a stock index focused on human capital management and jointly developed by Nikkei Inc. and JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc., for the second consecutive year.
The JPX-Nikkei Index Human Capital 100 consists of 100 companies selected from among the constituents of the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 based on factors such as the status of their initiatives to promote management with a focus on human capital.
To achieve the goals of its Mid-Term Management Plan “By Your Side” and realize sustainable growth, Suzuki is focusing on “Individual growth (improvement of work abilities)” and “Enhancement of well-being (from human resources to human capital)”. The company also regards human capital as a key driver of corporate value enhancement. By empowering each employee to grow and take on new challenges, Suzuki aims to strengthen its earning power and connect these efforts to greater corporate value and sustainable growth.
