Suzuki Completes the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race

“Team SUZUKI CN CHALLENGE” has completed the 2026 FIM* Endurance World Championship “Coca-Cola” Suzuka 8 Hours 47th Edition held at the Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture from 3 to 5 July in 7th place.
“Team SUZUKI CN CHALLENGE” started the final race from the 13th grid as a result of the qualifying session. Despite the harsh and challenging conditions, with three Safety Car periods caused by unstable weather and changing rainfall levels, all three riders delivered a determined and consistent performance throughout the race. At one stage, Ryo Mizuno set the team's fastest lap. Supported by a united team effort, “Team SUZUKI CN CHALLENGE” took the checkered flag in 7th place—surpassing its previous best result—and successfully completed the race.
“Team SUZUKI CN CHALLENGE” is composed of Suzuki employees, including new members selected through an internal recruitment process. The team took on the race with the aim of achieving both further reductions in environmental impact and enhancements in riding performance at a high level, while expanding the application of sustainable materials. The knowledge and experience gained from this successful finish will be leveraged by Team Suzuki to provide technical feedback for future product development.
Comments from Naomi Ishii, Representative Director and Executive Vice President

Through the activities of Team SUZUKI CN CHALLENGE, this race once again reminded us of the importance of pushing the limits and embracing challenges. Moving forward, we will continue to refine our environmental performance technologies through this initiative and strive to meet the expectations of society and our customers as Team Suzuki.”
