Suzuki Holds FY2025 Commendation Ceremony

Suzuki Motor Corporation has held its commendation ceremony for the FY2025 on 2 April 2026.
The Commendation Awards are a system established in FY1967 to “honor, appreciate, and acknowledge” individuals, teams, or initiatives that serve as exemplary models, demonstrating wisdom, action, and persistent effort in alignment with Suzuki’s philosophy of its mission statement: 1. Product Creation, 2. Company Creation, and 3. Human Creation.
President Awards are selected and decided by the Management Meeting based on applications from each vertical, with both self-nominations and nominations by others being accepted. Executive General Manager Awards are selected and decided by each Executive General Manager.

For FY2025, a total of 9 President Awards and 25 Executive General Manager Awards were selected. Among the recipients of the President Awards were initiatives such as: “The completion by Team Suzuki of the development of SUZUKI’s first mass-production BEV ‘e VITARA’, and the launch of its production in India,” “Receipt of a letter of appreciation from the Hamamatsu City Central Fire Department for a life-saving act,” “Commercial Operation of Suzuki’s First Biogas Plants in Collaboration with India’s Dairy Cooperatives,” “Promotion of Rail Modal Shift in Vehicle Transportation and Realization of Carbon Credit Registration,” and “Children's Drawing 3D Modeling Project.” These selections primarily highlighted initiatives that embody Suzuki’s corporate slogan, “By Your Side.”

Moving forward, Suzuki will continue to contribute to society as a unified group, cherishing the spirit of its philosophy of the mission statement.
