Suzuki Achieves Accumulated Motorcycle Production of
10 million Units in India

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (hereinafter, “SMIPL”), a motorcycle subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation (hereinafter, “Suzuki”) in India, achieved accumulated motorcycle production of 10 million units on 8 January 2026.

SMIPL began production in February 2006, and achieved a cumulative production of 10 million units in 20 years. SMIPL currently produces 13 models including ACCESS and GIXXER series. The 10 millionth unit was the ACCESS, which combines excellent everyday riding performance with convenience, and continues to support the mobility of customers.

Amid the continued rise in demand of motorcycles in the Indian market, SMIPL is constructing a new plant in Kharkhoda to expand production capacity in line with market growth. SMIPL not only supplies the domestic market but also exports to regions such as ASEAN, Latin America, and Europe, playing a vital role as Suzuki’s largest motorcycle production hub.
