Suzuki Launches Japanese-Style Management Education Program with Ahmedabad Management Association

Suzuki Motor Corporation (hereinafter, Suzuki) concluded an MoU in the state of Gujarat, India with Ahmedabad Management Association (hereinafter, AMA) on “SUZUKI–AMA CENTRE FOR JAPANESE MANAGEMENT” a program to provide an opportunity to study Japanese-style management in India. The MoU was signed by AMA President Savan Godiawala and Suzuki President Toshihiro Suzuki.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at an event which was attended by Chief Minister of State of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel, Governor of Shizuoka Prefecture Yasutomo Suzuki, Mayor of Ahmedabad Pratibhaben Rakeshkumar Jain, and Mayor of Hamamatsu Yusuke Nakano.

AMA is a non-governmental organization that provides education in a variety of management areas in cooperation with public institutions and companies. Suzuki has been providing vocational training for manufacturing sites in India. Through the “SUZUKI–AMA CENTRE FOR JAPANESE MANAGEMENT”, Suzuki will provide training on Japanese-style management, Suzuki’s management policy, and labor culture, in cooperation with AMA.

Suzuki will contribute to the “Make in India” and “Skill India” initiatives of the Indian government by developing human resources in the regions where it operates.
