SUZUKI MOTOR CORPORATION (the “Company”) announces the resignation of a Director of the Company as follows.

1. Name of resigning Director

Outside Director Lisa Yamai

2. Date of resignation

21 September, 2022

3. Reasons for resignation

Based on voluntary resignation due to personal reasons.

4. Other

The remaining number of Directors will continue to satisfy applicable laws and the Articles of Incorporation of the Company following the resignation.

In order to have the ratio of independent directors to become more than one-third of the Directors, the Company will make selection of a new candidate toward the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for June 2023.
