Suzuki Unveils the New Age Baleno in India

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, has launched its all-new premium hatchback, the New Age Baleno in India on 23 February. It will also be exported to Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, etc.

Since its launch in India in 2015, the Baleno has been a key model, renowned for its flowing, elegant styling, packed with spacious interior and sufficient luggage space. Sold through the premium sales channel NEXA in India, the Baleno has been favored especially among young, urban users. Its accumulated sales in India reached one million units in November 2021. Also, in 2021, 8 out of top 10 best-selling passenger vehicles in India were Maruti Suzuki models, of which the Baleno came in third with 172,241 units, after the top-seller WagonR (183,851 units), followed by the Swift (175,052 units). As a key model of Maruti Suzuki, the Baleno is the preferred choice among customers in India.

For the first time, the Baleno has undergone a full-model change while maintaining the much-favored packaging. It has evolved in all directions, including the exterior design that further accentuates the low & wide styling, high quality interior, advanced equipment such as head-up display, and rear seat comfort.
