Suzuki Announces New Mobile App for Outboard Motors,
Suzuki Diagnostic System Mobile Plus (SDSM+)

Suzuki Motor Corporation announced the launch of a new mobile app to support the marine experience of our customers, the Suzuki Diagnostic System Mobile Plus (SDSM+), at the Miami International Boat Show, being held in Miami Florida, USA, from 16 to 20 February 2022. The app for Android^TM*1 devices has been released in January, and the iOS^*2 version will also be released accordingly.

< 3 Features of the SDSM+ >

1. Checking the surrounding environment of the boating date

• Users can check the weather, wind direction, wind speed, and wave height of a designated point for a week and make boating plans by referring to the information.
• By setting the boating date, users can check the updated weather every time they open the app, which ensures worry-free preparations.

2. Assisted pre-departure inspections

• Users can inspect the outboard motor and boat thoroughly by referring to the checklist on the app.

3. Acquiring engine and driving tendency data

• By reading the QR code^*3 displayed on the Suzuki Multi-function Gauge / Suzuki Multi-function Display^*4 with the app, users can:
• Check the status of the engine, driving tendency, and recommended time for next oil change.
• Send the engine data to the service dealers in advance, to shorten the service time.
