Suzuki at the Auto Expo in India

Suzuki Motor Corporation’s Indian subsidiaries, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) and Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) are participating at Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020* at Greater Noida (near New Delhi), India. The Suzuki Group aims to present its stance to contribute to the sustainable development of automobile and motorcycle markets in India by showcasing initiatives in the fields of design and convenience and also in improving environmental performances.

<Exhibits of MSIL (Automobiles)>

MSIL has made reference exhibit of ‘Concept FUTURO-e’, an EV concept model which is a fusion of a coupé with a SUV. Designed for the aspirational youth who seek bold expressions, FUTURO-e demonstrates a new futuristic design language for the popular utility vehicle segment.

Other exhibits include the compact SUV Vitara Brezza installed with the much-awaited petrol engine. The Petrol Vitara Brezza complies with the new emission norm (BS6) which will be introduced in India from April 2020. Premium compact car IGNIS with an upgraded SUV-like design is also exhibited at the booth, which has a total of 17 automobiles, along with three motorcycles including the GIXXER and the Burgman Street.

<Exhibits of SMIPL (Motorcycles)>

SMIPL exhibits all of their models that they manufacture as BS6-compliant models. A total of 23 motorcycles are exhibited, including the flagship scooter ACCESS 125, and the reference exhibits of the MotoGP machine GSX-RR along with the sportbike GIXXER 250 and the scooter Burgman Street wrapped in MotoGP colours.
