Suzuki grabs second, third, and fourth places at the Suzuka 8hours Endurance Road Race

At the 2013 FIM Endurance World Championship Series Round 2 Suzuka 8hours Endurance Road Race, which was held at the Suzuka Circuit, YOSHIMURA SUZUKI RACING TEAM finished second, Team KAGAYAMA finished third, and SUZUKI ENDURANCE RACING TEAM finished fourth with the Suzuki GSX-R1000.
The championship went to MuSASHi RT HARC-PRO. (Honda CBR1000RR) with 214 laps.

The 8hours endurance race requires rider’s techniques, concentration, teamwork, and machine performance that can endure for such long hours of high-speed racing.

The race, which was held on 28 July, 2013 from 11:30am to 7:30pm, started with the contenders crashing and having machine troubles, to switch places in the early stage.
YOSHIMURA SUZUKI RACING TEAM, Team KAGAYAMA, and SUZUKI ENDURANCE RACING TEAM went closely behind the top-runner while switching places. The rain, which started falling at the last 40 minutes, urged the teams to select tires, but all three teams showed constant performance to keep their places until the finish.
Moto Map SUPPLY, a team supported by the Suzuki Motorcycles Sales Inc. finished 19th, and HAMAMATSU TEAM TITAN, our employee team, finished 23rd.
