Suzuki to show the new Alto compact car at Auto Shanghai 2009
At Auto Shanghai 2009, to be held in Shanghai, China, on 20–28 April 2009, Suzuki Motor Corporation’s two Chinese joint-venture companies, Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co., Ltd., and Jiangxi Changhe Suzuki Automobile Co., Ltd., and its wholly owned Chinese subsidiary, Suzuki Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting China-specification of Suzuki’s fifth world strategic model: the new Alto compact car.
The Alto was launched at Paris International Motor Show in 2008. Thanks to Suzuki’s compact-car expertise, it offers a great combination of eco-friendliness, comfort, economy, styling, and performance. Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile plans to start producing and marketing the Alto this summer for Chinese market.
The Suzuki booth at Auto Shanghai 2009 will also include other Suzuki vehicles. The full lineup of planned exhibits is shown below.
