Suzuki Indonesian subsidiary changing name to PT. SUZUKI INDOMOBIL MOTOR

Suzuki Motor Corporation’s Indonesian motorcycle and automobile production and sales subsidiary, PT. Indomobil Suzuki International (ISI), is to change its name to PT. SUZUKI INDOMOBIL MOTOR.

The change of name is intended to help enhance Suzuki’s brand awareness and expand product sales in the Indonesian market for motorcycles and automobiles.

Yoshiji Terada, current vice president of ISI, will assume a position of president as a successor of Soebronto Laras, current president, upon completion of local legal procedures.

Following the changes, the company will step up its product launches and dealer-network expansion with a close eye on conditions in the Indonesian motorcycle and automobile markets.
