LONDON-Shell International Petroleum Company has agreed to become the exclusive sponsor of 4-Suzuki Ignis Super 1600 in Junior World Rally Championship 2004.
"We are proud to sponsor the Junior World Rally Championship team," stated Andrew Hepher, Vice President Global Automotive Accounts, of Shell Lubricants. "We look forward to working with the outstanding people at Suzuki in the expectation of building a winning team."
Shell has had a long-standing relationship with Suzuki in Japan, and this sponsorship is the beginning of a wider, long-term relationship between the two companies. Work is ongoing to develop commercial opportunities of mutual benefit..
