Aboard Suzuki at the Budds Creek course in New York, Ken Roczen clinched the championship title in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship overwhelmingly by winning 18 of the 22 races to that point. Scoring a perfect 1-1 finish Roczen had 76 points putting the #94 RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory RM-Z450 out of the reach of the next competitor. Roczen’s dominating performance from the opening race of the season, got Suzuki off to a great start. Despite a scramble to replace broken goggles just seconds before the start of the first moto at Budds Creek, Roczen soon surged ahead at the top of the old finish-line hill to take the lead and secure the championship. Throughout the 2016 AMA MX season, Suzuki was a common and welcome sight on the podium proving the RM-Z450’s remarkable capabilities.AMA Supecross (RCH)
