Creating the small for big societal change.
Together with you, we can achieve the extraordinary.
Suzuki was established over 100 years ago in 1920 as a
manufacturer of looms for weaving threads into fabric.
As times have changed, we have continued to provide products oriented to our
customers, supporting their lives with motorcycles, automobiles, outboard
motors, and electric wheelchairs.
While the things we make have evolved over time, our fundamental philosophy
has remained unchanged from the start. This is the philosophy of
“小・少・軽・短・美 (Sho-Sho-Kei-Tan-Bi),” or “Smaller, Fewer, Lighter, Shorter, Beauty.” These words encapsulate our commitment to creating value without waste.
We believe that the technologies we have developed based on this philosophy can
now serve as significant tools in addressing social issues. These include global
warming, air pollution, traffic congestion due to the concentration of population
in urban areas, maintaining infrastructure, and labor shortages.
At Suzuki, we are taking new steps into the future with partners who agree with
this philosophy. By sharing our initiatives at CES, we aim to connect with those
who sympathize with our vision and work together to solve social and environmental challenges.
