1976 | GS750
Suzuki’s first 4-stroke 750 cm³ model for the booming 750 cm³ class market in Japan
The GS750 is Suzuki’s first large-displacement motorcycle with a 4-stroke engine. This 750 cm³ inline 4-cylinder 4-stroke DOHC 2-valve engine was well received in Japan and overseas. This engine generates maximum horsepower of 68 PS. In January 1978, a minor change model debuted with double disc brakes in the front, freshly calibrated carburetor and suspension settings, and different graphics. The GS750E debuted in July 1978 featuring star-shaped cast wheels.
(Note: Suzuki’s first model of any size to be equipped with a four-stroke engine was the 90 cm³ Colleda CO that debuted in 1954.)

1980 | GSX750E
High-performance machine with cutting edge mechanisms
The GSX750E features a 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine equipped with Twin Swirl Combustion Chambers (TSCCs). This engine generates maximum horsepower of 69 PS and maximum torque of 60 N·m, as well as excellent throttle response and top-level dynamic performance. Other mechanisms include front and rear disc brakes, and the world’s first Anti Nose Dive Forks (ANDF), which were developed using feedback from the RGB500 Grand Prix racer. The exterior also features a distinctive large rectangular headlight and a spacious body.

1983 | GSX750E
Aggressive multi-cylinder model with a focus on weight reduction
The GSX750E features a lightweight and compact 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine equipped with Twin Swirl Combustion Chambers (TSCCs) that generates a high maximum horsepower of 72 PS. It also incorporates a wide range of new technologies and mechanisms to enhance handling and safety, such as a double cradle frame composed of both square and round pipes, the Full-Floater suspension, a 16-inch front tire, Anti Nose Dive Forks (ANDF), and disc brakes at the front and rear wheels. The design also prioritized easy maintenance of parts. One example is the Remote Controlled Pre Load (RCPL) system, which allows the initial load of the rear cushion unit spring to be adjusted using an underseat knob.
