Popular and compact sporty model
The GA50 is a compact and sporty 50 cm³ model that can be ridden by holders of a small motorcycle license. This model was released in response to the revision of Japan’s motorcycle license system in 1972, which encouraged more people to start riding smaller class motorcycles. It pairs a high-performance 2-stroke 1-cylinder rotary disc valve engine that generates maximum horsepower of 6 PS with a pressed backbone frame. At low rpms, this powerful engine delivers gutsy torque on hills and rough roads. The GA50 also features a 5-speed manual transmission designed to maximize engine performance and aluminum Ceriani type front forks.
