High-performance sport bike with torqueful V-twin engine and agile maneuverability

The 1,000 cm³ liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin DOHC engine of the TL1000R generates maximum horsepower of 93 PS, creating the exhilaratingly powerful and agile riding performance typical of a V-twin engine. The fuel injection system ensures rapid response to throttle inputs and helps to produce a sensation of smooth and seamless acceleration. The success of this system prompted its roll out on other models, starting with the GSX-R series of supersport bikes. The TL1000R has a highly rigid body that combines a newly designed stiff aluminum twin-spar frame with a subframe below the swingarm and a 4-point engine mounting system. The rear suspension features a rotary damper with superlative road following performance.
