1970 | Hustler 90
Scrambler style model that can also be ridden as a motocrosser
The Hustler 90 was designed primarily as an off-road model with genuine motocross specifications and performance, and with the capability to compete in races without any modifications. It pairs a robust double-cradle pipe frame with a 90 cm³ rotary valve intake engine. With maximum horsepower of 10 PS, this engine delivers impressive power from low rpms, making the Hustler 90 an ideal pleasure model for inexperienced riders. It also features the Cylinder Crank Injection (CCI) lubrication system, a primary kickstarter, and long-stroke Ceriani type front forks. In addition, original motocross racing kit parts were prepared that enable the user to modify the performance of the model in accordance with the course. As an interesting side note, during the motocross boom of 1970, Suzuki was involved in the construction of motocross venues at more than 10 locations across Japan.

1973 |Hustler 90
Model changed Hustler for the popular mid-size market
The Hustler 90 is equipped with a newly designed 90 cm³ 2-stroke 1-cylinder engine that uses the Cylinder Crank Injection System (CCIS) as the lubrication system. It also features an aluminum cylinder with excellent heat dissipation and a rotary disc valve that delivers punchy staying power on hills and at low speeds. These features enable persistent durability even on longer rides. This model also includes an easy-to-use primary kickstarter. The newly designed semi-double cradle frame realizes high stiffness. Aggressive styling is created by the adoption of a racing type slimline fuel tank and rugged down type muffler.

1981 |Hustler 80
Agile model in the Hustler series that is easy-to-ride both on and off the road
Despite a displacement of only 80 cm³, the engine in the Hustler 80 generates an impressive maximum horsepower of 9.4 PS thanks to the adoption of a power reed valve. Combined with the highly durable Pointless Electronic Ignition (PEI) system, this engine delivers stable power from low-to high-rpm ranges. The engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission that realizes a reassuring shift feeling. The Hustler 80 also features front and rear suspensions designed for both road handling and ride comfort, a lightweight and robust semi-double cradle frame, and an extremely strong and rigid square swingarm to help ensure agile riding performance.
