Team Suzuki World MX2 grew out of a co-operation between Team Suzuki World MXGP and Suzuki Germany.

Seeing a lot of young riders with potential, the MXGP team and Suzuki Germany wanted to start-up a program where these youngsters could be guided on their road to success in the MXGP class. The team saw the first sign of success in 2009 with talented rider Ken Roczen. Still, today the team is a co-operation of Suzuki Germany and Team Suzuki World MXGP, attacking the FIM World MX2 Championship in 2016 with Brian Hsu and Jeremy Seewer, while Bas Vaessen will ride for the team in the European ‘EMX250’ Championship.
