Powered by a 199cm3 four-stroke engine and fed by a three-gallon-plus (12.5L)*

fuel tank, the lightweight DR200S can become the Swiss Army knife of motorcycles.

It will handle your workweek duties and your weekend recreation.

The DR200S’s 199cm3 single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke engine provides just the right amount of torque and horsepower to power your ride.

And that ride can be a long one, thanks to the DR200S’s high-mile fuel economy of 105.6MPG*1 (44.9km/L). With a fueled-up weight of just 278 pounds (126kg), the DR200S does not need a ton of power. What it needs - and what it gets - is torque that powers the bike with ease on dirt trails, and top-end power that allows confident open-road riding. The cylinder is plated with the same Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM)*2 that perfectly balances engine’s strength and lightweight.

The front disc brake on the DR200S and proven rear drum brake provide all the stopping power and reliable braking performance you need, on the street or in trail-ride conditions.

Ride comfort is enhanced by the telescopic front fork suspension and a preloadadjustable single rear shock absorber. This suspension setup provides 8.1 inches of wheel travel both front and rear.

The front and rear tires are designed for smooth riding on the pavement and nimble handling off the pavement.

With its 12.5 litres - 3.4 U.S. gallons (For Californian specifications: 12.0 litres - 3.3 US gallons), the DR200S holds enough fuel to travel nearly 350 miles (or more than 550 km)* between gas station breaks. With that capacity, you will be thankful for the non-stop excitement whether it be on the street or off-road. The tank and surrounding plastic are redesigned - along with the seat - to provide more comfortable seating and increased freedom to move while riding.

The DR200S’s taillight and turn signals are updated for 2015 to match the sleek new style of the seat and bodywork. A 60-watt headlight can help extend your riding session.

Influenced by the high-performance style of the Suzuki RM-Z series, a new seat and fuel tank on 2015 DR200S improve the motorcycle’s look and increase comfort for the rider. The new shape integrates more naturally with the bike’s redesigned fuel tank, allowing riders more freedom of movement on the seat - increased comfort for long street rides, and more cornering control on the dirt. This ergonomics redesign also makes the DR200S a better fit to a wider range of riders.
