Suzuki to provide aid for typhoon disaster in the Philippines

Suzuki Motor Corporation expresses heartfelt sympathy to those affected by the typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

As a support to the affected area, Suzuki Motor Corporation has decided to donate supplies and relief money to the local disaster fund which worth a total of two million yen from its subsidiary Suzuki Philippines and its employees, and five million yen to the Japan Red Cross Society from the Suzuki headquarters, a total of seven million yen.

Also, Suzuki Philippines will make two of its trucks available for rent to transport supporting goods.
